This article attempts to take the philosophy history as background, in order to analysis the origin of Marx alienation theory, interpret the content and the modern significance carries on the analysis, the explanation and the proof. Marx's alienation theory is established on the foundation of concerning of people's reality, through analysis to Rousseau, Hegel, the Feuerbach alienation theory and inherits critically, from the reality person's existence condition, as well as the decision of reality person's condition's material base embarks, Marx took the historical development as the angle of view, further enriched and deepened the alienation theory connotation in the practicing significance, and passed through the alienation theory to the capitalist system critique and in the communism historical Utopia, enabled the alienation theory to have the brand-new modern significance. The west Marxism is based on this, further showed and has enriched the Marx alienation theory modern significance, formed the Marx alienation theory modern shape. Marx's alienation theory considering as modern society critique theory, is the guidance to understand to explain and solve modern China society's all sorts of alienation question.
