The concept of Middle Power was firstly proposed by Canada in the aim of finding the right position in post-war reconstruction during the World War II. In practice, this concept evolved and became the foundational point of Canada's foreign policy.The concept was first proposed by Canada has its inevitability: Canada's unique history, cultural trends and the special international environment are the reasons for the formation of this theory.
