Sino-us Strategic And Economic Dialogue Mechanism Study

This paper analized the relevant concepts of "strategic dialogue" , and believed the notion "strategy"has some new meanings different from its traditional one's. The subject of Strategy and Economic Dialogue is the most important issue the two countries concern most, which covers many aspects of two countries' relations like economy, military, security, etc. This paper defined the scope covered by the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue, which including the 6 rounds of Strategic Dialogue, the 5 rounds of Strategic Economic Dialogue and the first round of "U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue".The paper analized many issues on Sino-US relations like adjustment of foreign policies toward the other side, tade issues,finance debates, etc. Through those analysis we could make the conclution that the esdeblishment and development of U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue is the outcome determined by growth of the Sino-US relationship.The purpose and meaning of the paper is trying to prove the developing value in Sino-US relations. In the analysis of the theme, subject, content and achievement of each round of the dialogue, the paper reviewed the development of U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue; summarized the laws that the development of U.S.-China Strategic and Economic dialogue mechanism must follow; concluded the experience and lessons from each round of dialogue in the aspect of economic diplomacy, public diplomacy.
