Responsibility, which is the subject's free-identification and self-obedience in specific task of social relations, is both an ancient and significant category in ethnics. As the most fundamental norm of humanity, it is closely linked with the existence and development of human beings and society, as well as a bond of interpersonal relationship, and that of human and society, human and nature, human and future, in order to maintain stability and development of a certain society. Nowadays, responsibility is not only an important part of the socialist ethnics, but also a pressing and practical problem in daily life. The view of responsibility is the subject's attitude and basic knowledge towards responsibility, as well as his idea, affection and desire of control over his behavior and subsequent results, on the basis of knowing his role and social demands under certain circumstances, so as to conform to the social demands. As for contemporary undergraduates, who have undertaken the significant historical mission of realizing China's great rejuvenation, they should have strong figure, good morality and sound character, strong desire of learning and interests in study, a sense of social responsibility and mission, and open-mindedness and tolerance of different cultures. Among those, responsibility is the basic quality that a citizen should have in modern civilization, while the sound view of responsibility is an absolute necessity for an undergraduate. However, some students actually have a weak sense of responsibility, who are irresponsible, ill-behaved, and misconduct very often, all these show a great room for improving sense of responsibility. Therefore, how to reinforce education on responsibility at universities to cultivate more high-quality talents for building of a harmonious society should attract much attention with urgent solution. Thus, moral education is both a great historical mission and an inescapable duty for universities.Firstly, this article makes an analysis on the concept of"responsibility". By making analysis and comparing of responsibility between Chinese and Western cultures to interpret the meaning of responsibility and discusses the necessity of taking on responsibility. Then it puts forward the concept of"view of responsibility", defines its meaning and discusses its intension and extension.Secondly, this article studies the current situation of responsibility crisis among undergraduates, to introspect education on view of responsibility at universities. Through deeply investigating and studying misconducts of responsibility of undergraduates in real life, and an attribution analysis of the problems, it is considered that the root cause of undergraduates'misconducts is that education on view of responsibility has long been ignored. Therefore, to reinforce the education on view of responsibility and make the undergraduates aware of taking on responsibility is a significant meaningful issue both in theoretical and practical terms. Thirdly, after establishing the principles of education on view of responsibility, this article further clarifies its contents.Finally, it is the ultimate goal of this article to make the undergraduates aware of taking on responsibility and be responsible. This article puts forward the practical strategy of education on view of responsibility, illustrates the mechanisms, as well as its approaches and methods.
