With the development of society and the progress of time, talent has gradually become thefirst resource to promote social development. College students, as the main source of talentsneeded by Chinese social development, are bearing a bounden responsibility to achieve nationalrejuvenation and social modernization. Therefore, for college students, it is an important part ofcontemporary college student’s ideological and ethical standards, the inevitable requirement ofqualified talent as well as the necessary preparations for the college students’ adapting to thesociety and effectively taking the responsibilities entrusted by the era to have the awareness to takeon responsibility and corresponding ability.Thesis is divided into four parts; In chapter1,responsibility and the college student’sresponsibility education is discussed. From the connotation of responsibility, responsibilityeducation is analyzed. The meaning and the content of responsibility of Contemporary CollegeStudents is summarized after absorb the essence of responsibility education that made by manyacademics,and era value of responsibility education to contemporary college students is alsostudied. The result shows that responsibility education to contemporary college students isnecessary.In chapter2, the monographic survey about Consciousness of responsibility and capacity forresponsibility in Contemporary College Students is taken. Rusult shows that contemporary collegestudents’ sense of responsibility and responsibility to present new characteristic, for example, in theaspect of Consciousness of responsibility, concentrate on personal value realization, but downplaypersonal Consciousness of responsibility; realizing the importance of family, but weaken thefamily Consciousness of responsibility; paying attention to interpersonal relationship, but theinterpersonal communication is towards utilitarian contacts and so on. When is comes to the aspectof capacity for responsibility, Contemporary College Students have a basic judgment ofresponsibility, but cognitive capacity of responsibility is poor; having a sample ability to judgingtruth and error sense, but selective capacity of responsibility is bad; having an ability of judgingothers, but poor in carrying out their self responsibility and so on.In chapter3, the source of the lost of Consciousness of responsibility and capacity for responsibility in Contemporary College is analyzed. The study shows that the lacking ofresponsibility education from family and school,the lack of Citizenship of college student、 andSocial various complex factors is the main reason to the Consciousness of responsibility andcapacity for responsibility in Contemporary College Students.In chapter4, Countermeasure ponder of strengthening Consciousness of responsibility andcapacity for responsibility in Contemporary College Students is studied from the current situationof Consciousness of responsibility in Contemporary College. The education of responsibility ofcollege student should stick to the principle of the human center、developing of quality education、integrating theory with practice and expansibility, meanwhile, to give full play to family to theeducation of responsibility of college student, strengthen the responsibility education in collegesand universities, optimize the social education environment and combine college students’subjective initiative in responsibility education.
