Chinese Classics, which is a crystallization of spirit of traditional culture and nationality wisdom, is rich in the wealth of national spirit and moral knowledge. After thousands of years cleaning and screening, the classics is also widely reading and studying by the Chinese with the attitude of"take the essence and discard the dross". And even today, the moral spirit in the classics still has a guiding role. Since the morality of young children is still under the process of construction and has not formed a complete moral system, so it needs the guidance of adults by means of teaching rules of conduct and transforming it into moral behaviors in normal life. At the same time, it should be noted that the subject of the children's moral formation is the child itself. Therefore, whether the teaching of moral principles and behavior knowledge or the inspiriting of moral feelings and practicing moral knowledge, it should be respected and satisfied, in line with the level and law of children's physical and mental development, so that the presenting forms can be accepted by children. Classics enlightment education in ethics content and its presentation is in compliance with the children's moral development characteristics. This article attempts to seek the moral spirit suitable for children's moral development in Chinese classics and explains problems that should be pay attention to during promoting the implementation of children's moral development in the classics.This research is based on promoting the children's moral development quality and makes the classics enlightment education as a means for enhancing children's moral development. What's more, it also explores the contents which have unique effects on children's moral development in order to promoting its developing level. This paper is divided into three parts:PartⅠ: Definition of Chinese Classics and Classic Enlightenment Education. Firstly is the definition of Chinese Classics content. By reviewing the past definition, assertion, and word meaning of Chinese Classics, combined with the main object of study - the unique nature of the physical and mental development of children, so that to define classics in the research. Then it explains studying the history of classics, presented the different meanings of classics at different times of the historical background, so that to clarify the meaning of classics in further. Finally, It presented the perspective on classics enlightment education with the modren education, in order to explore the meeting point between them. PartⅡ: Role of classics enlightment education on children's moral development. From the psychological point of view, this section is divided into moral cognition, moral feeling, moral willing and moral behavior. It also explores the content suitable for children's moral development in four parts and explains the importance of those unique moral spirit and rules of conduct on the children's moral development respectively. Classics enlightment education show the characteristics that is in all aspects of the children's moral.PartⅢ: Strategy in the implementation and issues should be noted in classics enlightment education on promoting children's moral development. For the implementation process of the classics enlightment education, it discusses the problems needing attention during the process by content, methods and means. Secondly, it reflects on the classics and the classics enlightment education. Additionally, it recognizes the negative contents of the classics enlightment education and tries to avoid them in specific implementation process.
