During the past thousands of years, Chinese nation formed and is still developing the splendid Chinese civilization. Chinese traditional culture exsits in various forms, not only penetrating through enculturation in the way of thinking, behavior, language and customs, but also preserving intact and meaningfully through classics. Sinology, is indeed Chinese traditional academic. These great books which convey Chinese traditional academical culture, are sinology classics. These sinology classics with readability and significance, tell about filial piety integrity, kindness and other moral ethics and norms. These characteristics make sinology classics useful for moral education in university and help to improve the effect of moral education actually.The isagoge describes the reasons of this topic, and discuss theoretical and practical significances of applying sinology classics into moral education. On the basis of reading and analysing the domestic and foreign literatures, it shows the project and methods of writing this paper.The first chapter seeks to clarify the meaning of Sinology. Then in the contrast of the connection between moral education and culture, it demonstrates the relationships between sinology classics and moral education in university which is actually get the same goal and harmony in cultivating well-rounded students.The second chapter analyses the targets and problems of moral education in university, and concludes that sinology classics should be applied into the functioning of moral education. Enhancing students’ national identity, promoting their moral cultivation and upgrading their humanistic qualities, all of theses are the positive effects of this application.The third chapter elaborates possibility of applying sinology classics into moral education in university. It states from two aspects including theoretical basis and practical realities in detail. The theoretical part includes marxist outlook of dialectical negation, theory of moral culture, cultural consciousness theory and eternal philosophy of education. Practical supports including explorations of some university on applications of sinology classics, cultural demands of the current society which shows from the boom of reading classics and the western experience of reading classics.The fourth chapter concludes the application paths of using sinology classics in moral education in university. The paths consists of four levels: getting access to the curriculum system in university; strengthening teaching staff and writing better teaching material; combining with development of student community and combining with the construction of campus culture.
