The research on the application of strategies on asking questions in class is an important aspect reflecting the perspective geographical teachers'design ability of classroom teaching, which is also one of the core issues promoting the professional development of normal students—the perspective geographical teachers.However, what common features and individual differences do the perspective geographical teachers have in the application of strategies on asking questions in class? What methods and measures can improve the level of the application of asking questions in class? Through an observation on videos of geography lessons taught by seven M.Ed students majoring in geography from the Capital Normal University, a research—from the perspective of teaching practice and reflection was carried out, which included the following aspects:the strategies of designing questions, asking questions, waiting for the answers, calling for the answers and dealing with the reply.The conclusion of the study shows that the perspective teachers should pay attention to the following aspects when asking questions in class:making full use of practical materials, considering the principles on classification of the questions and the cross-use of different types of asking questions when designing the questions of classroom teaching; paying attention to the tasks and situations and ask enlightening questions; using a variety of techniques on dealing with the answers to control the response time; applying a variety of ways to call students to answer the questions, leading them to ask questions, and actively organizing group learning activities in order to increase the participation of classroom Q & A segment; using various methods to enrich the classroom feedback, etc. The author suggest that all the above five suggestions could help to guide the pre-service teachers to make better strategies of asking questions in class.
