Training thinking ability is an important goal of high school chemistry curriculum teaching. Logical thinking ability is an important quality of thinking ability, and an important factor in intelligence as well. Chemistry is a basic scientific subject, and the knowledge of chemistry itself has its logic, which has a unique role and advantage in the training aspects of logical thinking abilities of students. Logical thinking abilities of high school students develop with grade. The overall level is not high, but it has a large room for growth. Senior students in high school have some preliminary study of high school chemistry, and the teacher can take full advantage of the unique thinking disciplines of chemistry and strategic systems, for training logical thinking abilities of students.In this paper, by referring the characteristics of senior grade chemistry revision classes, chemistry knowledge, and students'logical thinking in high school, the author analyzed the lessons senior grade chemistry teacher Meng Haiyan in Beijing Fourth High School, and summarized the following strategies of training logical thinking abilities of senior students in high school. That is, using the order of chemistry knowledge itself; setting effective problems; logical dismemberment of specific knowledge point; asking students to design their similar questions or problems and so on.The author designed a senior chemistry review lesson by referring the strategies and practiced teaching this class in Beijing Fourth High School. Student's thinking skills was evaluated and the whole class as well as strategies were reflected after class. The conclusion proved these strategies have some maneuverability.
