The promulgation of the New Curriculum to break the traditional teaching of mathematics simply to impart knowledge-based instructional goals, and develop into both need to focus on imparting knowledge, but also need to focus on improving the students’ own experiences and learning ability. Among them, in mathematics teaching, clearly put forward to develop the students’ ability of mathematical thinking。The students’ mathematical thinking ability and logical thinking ability has close relationship. In recent years, some scholars to study more to promote the development of students’ logic thinking ability, and to provide appropriate teaching strategies. Theoretical study on the discovery of logical thinking ability, logical thinking and mathematics metacognition are closely linked. Unlike other cognitive mathematical metacognitive activity, but a role in cognitive awareness, with a high level of mathematical metacognitive thinking can enhance the sensitivity of our activities, to improve our own thinking activities to controllability, we can contribute to more effective problem analysis and abstraction to observe, and to improve our ability to logical thinking. It mathematics students metacognitive thinking ability for us to open up another path. This paper focuses on this basis to promote the improvement of student thinking ability by improving students’ mathematics metacognition.On the basis of in-depth study of mathematics and logical thinking ability metacognitive theory, for high school math metacognition current level and logical thinking ability test volume-related questionnaire and survey analysis found that high school mathematics at the middle level of metacognition position, logical thinking ability in the middle level, mathematics and logical thinking metacognitive ability honors level higher than the average student. By understanding the current situation of this proposed teaching strategies in line with the current student cognitive structure and age characteristics, including the strengthening of the goal-oriented training, strengthen mathematical ideas and methods of training, mental training and strengthening of job training and so on reflection, to improve the student’s current level of mathematical metacognition, thus contributing to the development of students’ thinking ability. And, in a case study on the implementation of appropriate teaching strategies found in maths metacognition indeed improved, and to some extent, improve the logical thinking ability. So, indeed promote the development of logical thinking ability of students to improve students’ math through metacognition. This provides an effective way for another future development of our students’ logical thinking ability.
