After a period time of studying in high school, the freshmen of high school usually find the mathematics of high school is boring and abstract, instead of as easy as they expected. As for exercises and extracurricular exercises, they usually can not find way to solve problems in absolute daze. A great many students experience a hard time in mathematics learning with drastic drops of grades. There are lots of reasons for this problem. Students in junior school have low cognitive levels without good control of their learning behaviors and are at a loss as what to do with the heavy study of high school. Moreover, compared with that in junior school, mathematics in senior school has a qualitative change in not only difficulties of knowledge but also requirements for students'learning ability. There is also much difference between the contents and corresponding exercises of textbooks and various examination questions. Furthermore, in most cases, the mathematics in junior and senior schools is taught by different teachers who do not know each other at all which leads to consistency problems in teaching and learning inevitably. After new curriculum reform, mathematics in both junior and senior schools change a lot in such as guidelines, curriculum targets, curriculum contents, curriculum evaluations and so on. It has been a common problem for most middle school teachers that how to solve the consistency and transition problems of teaching mathematics between junior and senior schools, how to explore a new teaching and learning method suitable to freshmen in senior school, and how to help students overcome the consistency problems in the course of mathematics learning of junior and senior schools. So it has practice significances to help students transit from junior schools to high schools, get them adapt to the study in high schools and make efforts to research the consistency of mathematics between junior and senior schools. This problem is studied in both theory and practice in this paper. Firstly, the fundamental conceptions, course structures, course contents, course features and basic goals in new curriculum standard of mathematics in junior and senior schools are analyzed. Then study is conducted in directing students, consistency of teaching materials and teaching approaches providing many comprehensive scientific advices for successfully transition.
