There are two main theoretical explanations about the level of the resilience with college students, which are problem perspective and strength perspective. Problem perspective may pay attention to problems themselves very much. Based on the strength perspective theory, through surveying the level of the resilience with college students of two universities in Xi'an, this research analyzes adverse events, coping styles, the level of the resilience and the influencing factors. This research emphasizes that the resilience is individual innate energy. The level of the resilience with different individuals is different, while strength perspective is the important way to build and promote the resilience. Therefore, this research hypotheses, different types of college students have different level of the resilience; the resilience is the potential that everyone has all, but it needs to be excitation. The research find that:the level of the resilience of most students reaches to above- medium, which only a few students is low. There are main factors that influence the level of the resilience. For example, personal qualities, family, school, and companion. School offer to students lack of resources in the most external protection. Based on the conclusions, it uses the strength perspective to interpretive the resilience:everyone has great strength and energy; adversity events may be hurt, but they may also be converted to challenges and opportunities; through resource perspective to inspire the intrinsic resilience; from the social support building the extrinsic resilience.For building and promoting college students' resilience, this research refers to several suggestions based on the strength perspective:introducing strength perspective, to reshape personal qualities; with a meaningful connection construction family resilience; construct the resilience campus culture; strengthen the connection between the companion group and establish identity.
