The new experimental high school curriculum starts in 2004 in Shandong, Guangdong, Hainan and Ningxia, and then across the country in an orderly way. The curriculum reform changed a lot in the curriculum function,the curriculum system,the curriculum content,the curriculum implementation the curriculum evaluation and the curriculum management, it also had aroused widespread concern. How is the high school mathematical status of implementation of the new curriculum? What are the change and the problem in implementation process? In this paper, according to investigation of hundreds of teachers of 21 high schools in Shanxi, Ningxia and Xinjiang, It reflects relatively the implementation situation of high school mathematics curriculum in Northwest Territories, through that we know about results achieved and general problems implemented in the process so as to find proper measure and proof for new curricular reform. The thesis included four parts. The first part is preface, in which the background and significance of the study were introduced. In the second part, the thought and implementation of the study were stated. In the third part, the current state of implementation of the new curriculum of mathematics was analyzed. We carried out research by the questionnaires through the following five aspects such as teacher's teaching ways and behavior,evaluation for students leaning mathematics,exploitation and use of curriculum resource,professional development and problems met in the implementation of new curriculum. In last part, but not the least, the conclusions and recommendations of study were stated. The result of our investigation includes the delightful change and existed problems. After few years of the implementation of the new curriculum, the survey showed that the implementation of the new curriculum reform brought some delightful change:It has improved teachers'quality,changed teaching and learning method,paid attention to cultivation for students'ability,evaluated diversely and strengthened Awareness of exploring curricular resource. However, it is also found that there are some real problems in the implementation of the new curriculum:The backward system of teacher's evaluating,the teachers'disability of exploring curriculum resource,the weak awareness of fostering students'quality,the little opportunity of training as well as useless contents.the author gave some suggestions on the current state of the new curriculum of mathematics in order to promote the implementation of the new curriculum:To perfect teachers'evaluating and training system, to promote teachers development and curriculum implementation, also to encourage teachers to carry out teaching and research activities, to exploring curriculum resource and curriculum concept.
