A nation's traditional culture is its symbol and the intellectual crystal which is formed in the process of production and life of people within a particular.natural environment. However, it cannot be unchangeable and keep original state. In the long process of historical evolution, it comes to current state after many changes in the different circumstances. With the development of world tourism, our country also has witnessed the great changes. In 1978, the Party held the historic Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, which emphasizes that economic development is central task and advocates that "development is of overriding importance". Under this slogan, tourism as a sector of tertiary industry develops rapidly. Mongolian traditional culture attracts the tourists abroad and at home and plays an important role in tourism. Building an autonomous region featured by own specific culture is a strategic decision made by Party Committee and government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous region in order to keep up with development of new era. In order to carry out this strategic decision, many policies, principles are laid down to support and facilitate cultural undertakings, specifying basic concepts and leading ideology. As a result, cultural construction catches attention from all walks of life and it becomes the core task of building an autonomous region featured by own specific culture to inherit and develop grassland culture and renew cultural undertakings of a nation. Xi Lunhuh Banner of Xi Linguole League is entitled as " world famous culture tourism banner" and "one of 66 famous culture tourism banners of China", since it has paid great stress on tourism and got remarkable achievements. What's more, Mongolians has experienced great changes in their production and life. These changes of traditional culture under the influence of tourism attract the attention of scholars gradually and become the research topic for them. The present thesis is based on field work in Xi Lunhuh Banner, analyzing how their life changes in the "Malqin Ail" tourist place. The thesis consists of three parts—introduction, main body and conclusion. The introduction part presents the rationale, aims, significance, research methodology and literature review of present study. The main body analyzes the factors that cause changes of means of production or life and similarity of ethnic cultures and cultural changes in "Malqin Ail" tourist place, and then summarizes the features of these changes. The third part is the appendix in which bibliography and published articles are appended.
