Under the background of the curriculum reformation, experts and teachers are trying new teaching patterns, one of which is'question-and-answer'pattern. In view of the immaturity of this pattern and misunderstandings in the process of carrying it out, teaching aims fail to be achieved. The essay is to give a research about the following two problems theoretically and practically. One is to expound the theory of history teaching on the premise of showing the subject feature and essence of this new teaching method. The other is to analyze what the most effective question is and how to unfold the questions combining the real class performance in order to realize the teaching aim.The essay is divided into three parts. The significance of this topic and its researching progress is elaborated in the first part. And then the second part interprets the theory about how to put up valuable questions in real teaching and identify whether these questions are effective or not. The third part is the cone of the essay, which gives the real teaching examples on questions'designing and implement.
