Preliminary Study On Community Of Practice Based On Sns

The twenty-first century is a network-based, digital, information-based era. Now, the level of the information and technology is a very important indicator of a country's comprehensive national strength; the ability of sourcing, analyzing, and applying the information is also a very important factor that determines people's success. Swift development of information and technology has been changing people's concept of education and ways of study. And Internet in teaching has received more and more attention.This paper is mainly based on the analysis of the specialist of the courses in senior and the popularity of the SNS websites, integrates the conception of practical community into courses, and analyzes the SNS-based course. According to the purpose of the paper, we chose Kaixin001.com as our platform for teaching and learning, and focused on the interaction(between teacher and student, as well as among students) in the discussion area of a higher education course-Modern Design of Chemistry Instruction. Research methods, such as content analysis and interview are used to research on the interpersonal interaction in the networking learning.There are four main parts in this thesis. The first part elaborates the practical community's related concepts, theories and current research. And also deeply analyze it from the role and practical aspect; the second part makes a brief analysis on the SNS related concepts, developing roads, characteristics, and theories; the third part analyzes the correlation factors that influence constructing practical community which lays the foundation for the author proposed construction strategy of network learning community; and the fourth part illustrates how to create and foster a network learning community through a case study.
