Transfer of learning is a universal feature of human learning. Transfer is one of the sources of creative ability, is the basis for students learning to study and learning innovation, is also one of the development of necessary capacity for a student who is out of the school and then entering a job."Teaching for Transfer"(Perkins & Salomon, 1988) is also enduring research themes of educational psychology. Transfer is essentially a process of integration of old and new experiences. And integration is some integration phenomenon of old and new experiences. That is, through analysis, abstraction, synthesis, summary and other cognitive activities, integration is to form a complete psychological system, which, is integrated and systematic in structure and is stable in function to regulate the activities. How to integrate?"Integration"is actually a concept of development, which contains multiple category theory and diversified design practice. Progressives such as John Dewey emphasized social experiential curriculum integration and Cognitive advocates such as Bruner emphasized structured curriculum integration based on knowledge content. Then postmodernist emphasized on individual experience-oriented and psychological interaction course structure, but Rogers and other humanists paid attention to the"parallel courses"integration about"moral knowledge","moral feelings"and"moral will"etc from the point of training"whole person". Among the many studies on curriculum integration, developing thematic teaching approach to integration is the research direction of national education. This study is divided into two parts: theoretical and empirical research. In theory, through the research about transfer theory and themes teaching, the thematic integrated teaching pattern is proposed: present the theme - the task settings - ask the question - solve the problem - the mobilization and transfer and integrated structure of teaching, which thereby enhances the students transfer abilities by the way of constructing the complete cognitive structure.Empirical studies designed three experiments: combining both quantitative method and qualitative method, then using SPSS statistical software for data analysis and drawing the conclusions.ExperimentⅠ: The survey found that by thematic integrated teaching, the transfer of students generally improved.ExperimentⅡ: By the"factorization"of the thematic integrated teaching case studies, to students, there is a significant difference between in the mid-transfer and in the far-transfer, and the transfer abilities of the good students increase significantly, while the transfer abilities of the poor students is not obvious .ExperimentⅢ: Through interviews, it is found that between the students having the integration of teaching with the students of having no thematic integrated teaching, in computing power, understanding, reasoning ability, ability to use, are significantly different.By the thematic integrated instruction, focusing on overall grasp of the material, to set the task of learning activities, to solve problems by exploring co-operation, learning the knowledge of the occurrence and development, through the constructing structure to improve the generalization ability etc. All of these methods above are the factors increasing the transfer of students...
