Thematic instruction activities on the center of the concept of history is a kind of thematic instruction model which regards "the concept of history" as the teaching theme of classroom and make an organic integration on the learning content around theme of teaching. As a new teaching mode of thematic instruction, the thematic instruction which regards the concept of history as the center, not only laying stress on the integration of learning resources, but also paying attention to training the ability of students on constructing knowledge, which plays an important role in training ability and quality of students.Research of this paper is based on research of relevant theories and combines practice of thematic instruction, constructed the learning style of thematic instruction which on the center of the concept of history. The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is the theoretical foundation of the full text. It mainly investigate and analysis the problems and theirs causes in thematic instruction of high school history, such as some teachers walk the old path with new shoes, to summarize the problems that teachers don’t know the writing style of the textbook, can’t complete understand teaching objectives and so on. And explains the thematic instruction’s importance and practical significance which on the center of the concept of history.The second part focuses on the relationship between the concepts in the subject of high school history and thematic instruction. Firstly, the author divides concept into historical concept, ideological concept and concepts put forward by historical figures from the perspective of the formation process, analyses the connotation and characteristics of each kind, then combining the characteristics of each type of concepts to discuss how to implement the thematic instruction, combine the teaching content of whole class teaching on the history class in order to highlight the importance and its practical significance of the thematic instruction as the center of the history concept.The third part mainly introduces the principles and characteristics when carrying out thematic instruction as the center of history concept. The author considers that the thematic instruction as the center of history concept should be based on not only the principle of thematic instruction, but also the history of the concept of combining their own characteristics to determine the principles followed in the teaching, concluding the principle of subjectivity, selectivity, systematization and integrity. Moreover, the author analyzes the characteristics of thematic instruction, combining the characteristics of history concept, agrees with that thematic instruction as the center of history concept should be reflected in the following three areas:thematic instruction as the center of concept; to achieve thematic instruction in the constructive significance; Two-center development concept.The fourth part mainly explains the important role of thematic instruction on the center of the concept of history in developing students’ ability and quality. Such as historical thinking ability, autonomous cooperative inquiry, migration history, timing concept of history and so on.The fifth part is the core of this paper. It mainly discusses the strategy of the thematic instruction which regards the concept of history as the center. The author designs specific implementation steps of carrying out thematic instruction on the center of history concept which be based on the actual teaching situation of high school history and the particularity of thematic instruction on the center of history concept,(1)to integrate teaching content, extract the teaching themes;(2)select concepts, determine the theme;(3) serving theme through some historical materials’expansion;(4)Overall construction, presented the theme;(5)dynamically generated, evaluated subject. In addition, the paper also designs three typical teaching cases and further demonstrates the important role thematic instruction on the center of history concept plays in training the students’ ability.
