Students can't acquire integrated knowledge and experience about the world in the traditionalinstruction that usually escapes from life and society. It is no good to students' development and futurelife. The thematic instruction uses "theme" as the clues which contacts each subjects. In the process ofinvestigating the theme, students can acquire knowledge and ability of each subjects related with thetheme, raise the ability to resolve the compound problem, and learn to cooperate with others. Thispaper develop the model of thematic instruction design and implementation of the primary school bythe methods such as case analysis, observation and so on. This paper is composed of three parts.The first part, mainly introduced the choice of research methods, research object and researchvalidity.The second part, elaborated the basic principle of thematic instruction, including the essence ,characteristics, value, significance and type etc.The third part expatiated upon the process of thematic instruction design and implement. Themodel of thematic instruction design and implement include theories foundation, function goals,instruction procedure, implementation condition and evaluation.
