Contemporary undergraduates are the main force and successors of socialist modernization of our country; they are the concentrated reflection on our country's comprehensively improving talents'competitive capability. Strengthening their self-socialization and averaging up the standard of socialization have far-reaching significance on promoting their all-round developments. During the three decades of reform and opening up there is an obvious improvement on both comprehensive national power and talents'competitive capability, which has laid a good foundation for our economic construction. However, due to the diversification and informationization of our society, the intensification and pluralism of the talents' competitive capability and the magnification and deepening of economic reform and development, undergraduates of the new era are influenced more directly and adequately by popular and internet culture. This, on one hand, broadens undergraduates'horizon and animates their thinking; but meanwhile it also brings some negative impacts that cannot be ignored. In face of such new challenges, situations and opportunities, undergraduates should learn to grasp all the possible chances and improve the standard and level of self-socialization to better adapt to society and make contribution to the prosperity and harmony of the society.This thesis elaborates the concept, content and features of undergraduates' socialization and its vital meaning in university education, emphasizing that socialization of undergraduates of the new era should be taken seriously and rethought profoundly. In addition, from the point of view of undergraduates and their actual life, we should rationally analyze the current condition of undergraduates'socialization and guide them in the process of socialization, facilitating the benign interactivities and development. This thesis also expounds factors that influence undergraduates' socialization objectively and subjectively and puts forward a series of reasonable suggestions on strengthening undergraduates'socialization.
