Building a harmonious campus is not only the practical demand of implementing the scientific developing concept and promoting the construction of harmonious society, but also the logical alternative for the colleges and universities to expedite the reform and development and to train talented students. And it also accords with the requirements of the development of the colleges and universities as well as the era. To build a harmonious campus, there are four harmonious relationships to be framed in the final analysis:human and the nature, human and human, human himself, human and society. They are consistent with the Chinese traditional "harmoniousness" culture.The "harmoniousness" culture is one of the core ideologies of Chinese traditional culture, and one of the ultimate embodiment of the Chinese traditional value system for thousands of years. Mount Tiantai, one of the major cradles of the Chinese "harmoniousness" culture, produced the unique "harmoniousness" culture as a result of the integration of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. The culture embodies three integrations:human with the nature, human with the society and human with himself. The harmoniousness sprit is realistic and inclusive, integrative and creative, which emphasizes the harmonious relationship between human and the nature, the harmonious social and interpersonal relationships, and the sublimation of self-spirit. To advance and enrich Mount Tiantai's harmoniousness culture helps epurate its modern inspiration on how to construct a harmonious university, implications on Humanism Concept, belief and cultural conflicts. It is of theoretical and practical significance for realizing the all-round development and harmonious universities.
