After the foundation of the PRC, our country has had several important education and teaching reforms, which meet the new demands and have every times'feathers. From the year of 2005, Shandong province began to have the comprehensive curriculum reforms. The reforms consist of the following aspects:(1)the curriculums'ideas, goals,function, structure and contents.(2) the curriculums'execution, evaluation and resources. (3)textbooks exploitation. Now it's a great challenge for schools and teachers to put all the curriculum reform results into practice. The article is the research about the present senior physical education in Shandong province. The research methods are multiple, such as mathematical statistics, interview method, survey method and so on. After careful research, I draw the following conclusions.1 The Provincial Department of Education attaches importance to the reforms, so do the other departments of education. The policy-making and training show out the government leaders'recognition and determination. After five-year practice, most of the reform results are well actualized. About 85% of the schools put the results into practice, especially the Health Module.2The teachers, sports ground and sports apparatus from 50% schools can't satisfy the module selection education. The distributions of resources are not extremely balanced in different schools of different levels.3Teaching aspects:(1)The module selection education mostly concentrates on football, basketball, volleyball, able tennis, traditional folk activities and aerobics. Gymnastics and other new physical activities aren't paid much attention to.(2)Almost half of the schools don't have the teaching plans, standard plans, module plans and unit plans, neither did they have detailed and doable plans.(3)The school contexts exploitation isn't optimistic; nearly 60% schools have no school contexts. This means that teachers don't have the habit of creation and practice.(4)On the whole, the teaching evaluation is good, but it lacks of the evaluation of psychology and health, social accommodation. 4During the teachers'training, all the teachers can understand and accept the new curriculum reform ideas. But there are lack of the practical reform training, athletic technology practice and new sports items.Some suggestions:1. The education competent department should pay much attention to the policy of the teachers' distribution, sports ground and sports apparatus, especially the under-developed areas and schools. So these schools in poor area can have the physical module selection education.2. The education competent department might improve the training levels, adding more gymnastics, athletic technology and new sports items training.3. All the teachers should learn and master the new reform ideas, getting rid of the bad habit of dependence and binging all the teachers intelligence into play. Meanwhile, all the teachers should exploit the school contexts, make detailed teaching plans and improve the teaching evaluation.4. The evaluation of health module is different from other modules. We must explore and find out scientific and practical evaluation for it.
