With the development of sports and health curriculum reform in China,more and more scholars and social forces focus on this course.In recent years,the Ministry of education has issued a number of documents to improve the quality of school sports teaching.In 2016,the State Council issued "opinions on strengthening school physical education to promote students' all-round physical and mental development" and in 2020 issued "opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and improving school physical education in the new era",which pushed the curriculum reform to a new climax.Many experts and scholars have carried out research on the curriculum reform from various perspectives and achieved great results.In the process of physical education and health curriculum reform,different schools have different development,especially under the influence of the traditional syllabus,the concept of "skill only" is concluded in the hearts of school leaders and teachers,which leads to PE Teachers' lack of in-depth practice of the new curriculum standards in the process of physical education teaching.In addition,at present,10% of junior middle school students in China are studying in private schools,and the quality of physical education in private schools also determines the quality of compulsory education.However,under the influence of relevant policies,the development of junior middle schools in China has produced the phenomenon of "public advance and private retreat".Therefore,this paper selects this topic to study the physical education and health courses offered by private and public schools in Liaocheng from the perspective of classroom evaluation.Based on the compulsory education physical education and health curriculum standards and curriculum reform,this paper evaluates the physical education and health courses offered by private and public schools,and summarizes their respective advantages and disadvantages in the process of classroom teaching,Put forward the strategies to improve the development of physical education and health curriculum in Liaocheng junior middle school.Classroom evaluation is the subordinate index of physical education and health curriculum evaluation.This paper establishes the evaluation system of physical education classroom on the theoretical basis of "Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standard","School Physical Education" and core literacy concepts.Through literature review,interview,questionnaire survey and field investigation,the established system is compared and analyzed from three angles of teacher evaluation,student evaluation and sports facilities and resources evaluation,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Teaching evaluation.Physical education teachers in private junior middle schools have a relatively high design of teaching activities,selection of teaching organization forms,and evaluation of students ' independent ability,creating a good classroom atmosphere.Physical education teachers in public primary middle schools have performed better in the control of teaching important and difficult points,and the curriculum target setting is relatively good for the implementation of the curriculum standards.Teaching process design,teaching method implementation process,and the achievement of teaching objectives are higher than that of private schools.(2)Students ' learning and evaluation.Students from private junior middle schools have high satisfaction with their learning content,students have a good attitude towards physical exercise,high frequency of extracurricular physical exercise,and their cooperation ability and safety awareness have been well developed.Public junior middle school students have developed more clear learning goals and learning tasks,more reliable knowledge and skills,and cultivate a firm will.However,both types of schools have poor physical test results,and the failure rate is high.(3)Sports facilities and resource evaluation.There is a certain gap between the sports facilities and courses of private and public schools: the number of sports venues,sports equipment and characteristic courses are better than public middle schools,the development of mainstream sports courses,and the opening of private middle schools in niche courses.Summarize the evaluation process and conclusions,and then put forward the following development strategies: implement curriculum standards and make reasonable teaching plans;Strengthen inter-school cooperation and build a communication platform;Strengthen business training and improve teaching level;According to state regulations,organize extracurricular sports activities;Improve the evaluation system of physical education and health courses,increase the input of sports funds and strengthen the construction of school sports facilities.
