The reform of education evaluation is one of the key parts, because education evaluation directly elated to the basic concepts of education and guidance. The reform of evaluation leads to a series of change of education process and management in all areas. Student assessment is the most important part of education evaluation. Quality education develops the whole person, because the subject of education is a special person. So we should guide the student in knowledge and ability, we should enable student to learn to learn, to learn to live.Having student assessment is an important strategy for teaching reform and management. Many experts and scholars at home and abroad is studying the assessment student, because of the student is an independent individual. They have different skills in different ways, teachers should use "the most appropriate foot" to adapt to each student's development. Multi-evaluation should be to development. Multiple intelligence theory and constructivism theory is its theoretical basis. Explorations and practices in the past decades have established some general theories and ideas for student assessment. However, with rapid development of modern science and technology, new challenges and requirements frequently appears for talents' training, having skill is important, but develop the whole person" is the main tasks and goals for education. Evaluation direct the education target and direction, Multi-evaluation for student is very important.This paper is made up of six parts:the first chapter introduces background and the thoughts of evaluation at home and abroad. The second chapter introduces the idea,content framework and theoretical foundation of education evaluation. The third chapter introduces the connotation, type, function, model, principles of the student assessment and the paper introduces some models, such as performance assessment and portfolio assessment, and discusses its strengths and weaknesses. The fourth chapter, through the questionnaire survey, we found that student assessment in the teaching practice also made great achievements, it is good for quality education; however, there is a lot of problems to be solved. The fifth chapter points out some advices. Finally, the author proposes some viewpoints and summarize the article. The study has some difficulties to be solve.
