The "Post 90s" generation, who was born in the age of economic globalization, knowledge, and Internet, has already step into the institutions for higher education. With distinct features of the time, they attract extensive attention of the society. However, in this specific moment, the moment that the new generation steps into our colleges and universities with their own thinking pattern and living style, are our colleges and universities fully prepared? In the new period, we should work hard on the study of ideology and behavior of these "post 90s" students, which can enable us to know better about their generation characteristics and the specific feature of their demands. In that case, we could bring forward better methods on ideological and political education that close to the "post 90s" students based on the Marxism Theory. And these methods, basically according to the rule of the forming and development of the "post 90s" students'ideology and morality, and the rule on the ideological and political education, can make the ideological and political education in colleges get rid of the boring sermon of the traditional theory, and be close to the new age so as to become attractive. The questionnaire survey among the "post 90s" students in Shanghai Dian Ji University shows that the "post 90s" students have distinguished patriotism and nationalism, showing solicitude for our nation's future and fate, and being eager to stick up for our nation's dignity and glory. They are acute, active, creative, and good at learning. They are eager to meet the new and are passionate to life. With the feeling of identity to the policy of reform and opening-up, they show a strong sense of participation in activities for public good. They are followers of past traditions and trail blazers for future generations, promising and hopeful. However, the survey also reports that to the "post 90s" students, reality weights more than ideality; individuality weights more than the community; fashion weights more than tradition; and emotion weights more than reason. They are brave enough to take responsibility, but quite often a time, they appear to be too confident. Their communication with others mainly depends on Blog, Kaixin, cell phone, short massage or QQ, which, to a large degree, weakens their language expression and writing ability. In addition, with a low awareness of economic independence, the "post 90s" students have a strong sense of credit or excessive consumption. Our study shows that the ideological and political education to the "post 90s" students should be further improved on the aspect of content and method, and meanwhile on the aspect of thread and pattern. Moreover, our ideological and political job should pay more attention to foster the students'teamwork spirit and enhance their sense of social responsibility, so that moral education can really become part of the students'college life. As the "post 90s" students pour into our colleges and universities, the ideological and political education has been pushed into a new development stage. In this context, the educator of college ideological and political job should keep up with the times, and make continually innovation on their working method so as to fit the demand of development.
