In contemporary China, the conflict between new and old values and the coming of western defective ideas during the globalization process has brought diversity to college student. The traditional values and humanistic spirit have been squeezed and alienated by Pragmatism and Utilitarian awareness, which made quite a number of students have ethical dilemma in different degree. The existence causes many negative consequences in every practical activities of college students, which has inflicted a series of disordered morality behavior with incorrect moral conceptions.With investigation and survey, the essay has analyzed various performances of ethical dilemma in college students from different point of views, such as society, school, family and students themselves, and searched the reasons for the existences. Then to seek the solving methods on ethical dilemma with all kinds of subjects, such as Sociology, Psychology, Education and so on. The essay will be of some help both in theory and practice to analyze and solve the ethical dilemma of the college students and thus helps to improve and complement the college moral education.This essay includes the following three parts. The First Part: Based on the various phenomenon of ethical dilemmas and connected with the analysis on the college students'conception on values, principle of good and evil, thought on fairness and justice, ideas on marriages and so on, the essay reveals the characteristics and behavior of dilemma in college students. The Second Part: The essay points out the causes of the ethical dilemma in terms of social & economical environment, combined with school and family environment. The Third Part: The essay discusses the method that how to solve the ethical dilemma in students, which is provided in terms of improving the environment of social moral education, giving scope to the main position of school, laying emphasis on the basic function of family, and fostering students' ability to study on their own, which could improve the personal discipline of moral quality.
