In recent years, with China’s comprehensive strength has been increasing, thereappears a growing interest of learning Chinese language and culture. Together withthe increased promotion in Chinese, the governments of other countries havegradually realized the necessity of maintaining friendly contacts with China bypopularizing Chinese language education and selecting learners to study in China.The number of world-wide learners has surged, like about109countries, more than3000schools opens Chinese courses in succession.The practical study on Chinese teaching gradually requires teachers to organizeclassroom teaching activities aiming at learner’s age, level, nationality, and so on.Studies in Second Language Acquisition now as an independent discipline have longbeen discussed, the results of which play a certain role in constructing classroomteaching.This thesis aims to discuss related issues from the following five parts:Part One, comprehensive introduction of the background of selected topic,determines the target of selected topic based on studying on research literature.Part Two, basic theory study, illustrates the current research status of both SLAand classroom teaching theory. It also explores the study direction from theoreticalcontroversy.Part Three, the study on the relation between Second Language Acquisition andclassroom teaching. This part mainly discusses how and in which aspects SLAtheory affects classroom teaching through studying the practical teaching inThailand.Part Four, analysis on model of teaching. Based on the study on present teachingsituation in Thailand, this part explores the classroom instructional design proper forThai students by observing and summarizing Chinese integrated class and readingclass.Part Five, enlightenment, analyzes and summarizes the above argument. Also, itsums up teaching suggestions and relative approaches dealing with Chineseclassroom teaching.
