Middle school students are the flowers of the motherland and they are buildingthe reserve forces of socialism. The party and the state education department havealways attached great importance to middle school students’ ideological and politicaleducation. Because the students’ ideological and political education level is not onlyrelated to their own development, but also related to national future and nationaldevelopment. In different periods of social development, there are different educationtargets for the middle school students. In the current social situation, there are largerchanges that have taken place in this period, especially the middle school students’ideological and political education is also put forward new requirements in ourcountry. What’s more, the economic development level is backward and the educationdevelopment level is generally low in frontier minority areas of our country. Due tothe many factors’ effect, such as natural conditions, the backward development ofgeographical constraints, regional economic development level, frontier minorityculture diversity, religious ideology is special, Special geographical constraints andpolicies of the state regional implementation is not in place and so on. All of thosehave caused the problems that the students’ ideological and political education isweak, the ideology and contradiction is more prominent in the frontier minority areas.The varieties of ways which are combined with the ideological and political educationare to be done for ideological and political education in frontier minority areas.Therefore, the problems about how to analysis and strengthen the current situation ofstudents ideological and political education in frontier ethnic regions and minorityareas, which have profound influence on the students’ ideological and politicalqualities for the improvement of the border areas; which promote the construction of socialist political civilization, and the ideological guarantee for the constructionspiritual of civilization; Which is also the important part of realizing the “Chinadream”.In order to grasp the contemporary middle school students’ ideological andpolitical education more objectively and accurately in the frontier minority areas, it isin favor of further strengthening the ideological and political education effects ofmiddle school students in China border and minority areas. During more than twoyears, I have been personally to the frontier minority areas in several places of Yunnanto do the field survey. Through on-the-spot investigation and questionnaire surveyresults, we have counted and analyzed some problems and effect factors about middleschool students’ ideological and political education in current frontier minority areas,which caused a lot of social problems, for example, ethnic tensions dispute, and lotsof middle school students have dropped out from school, even go to the illegal way ofcrime. All that make the parents、the teachers、the students in the school and societyworry that if things go on like this forever and it will cause more social problems. Forthis problem, we must look forward to have a good way to change the status quo. Theideological and political education is one of the most effective ways to solve varioussocial problems and resolve social contradictions. In a word, we should attach moreimportance to and strengthen the ideological and political education of the secondaryschool students in the border and minority areas.This article integrated use of the history and logic, statistics, political science,psychology, social investigation method, the research methods of combiningqualitative and quantitative statistical analysis. This article has not only combinedwith the party central committee and the state council issued by the files of Nationalmedium and long-term education reform and development plan outline(2010-2020)but also summarized the related content in the files of The central committee of the communist party of China, the state council on further strengthening and improvingideological and moral construction of minors several opinions, which is about theoverall situation of implementation of education in the frontier minority areas. Wehave collected and researched the frontier ethnic cultural inheritance and evolutionand after the founding of new China the middle school’s ideological and politicaleducation reform exploration and experience. We have investigated the basic situationof middle school in the frontier minority areas, such as the educational environment,educational conditions, sources of students, students’ characteristics. We havesummed up the existed experience and deficiency in the present situation of middleschool students’ ideological and political education in the frontier minority areas. Andwe have combined with the actual situation of frontier minority areas. We have alsosummarized the efforts about the middle school students’ ideological and politicaleducation existing in frontier minority areas. According to the presentcountermeasures for the current problems, we have proposed to improve the basicapproaches and methods about the current middle school students’ ideological andpolitical education effectiveness in frontier minority regions. We hope that throughthis article research can provide some reference to our country frontier minority areasof middle school students’ ideological and political education’s reform anddevelopment.
