Since the first computer is invented in1946, during the short period of60years, computertechnology developed very fast. Although volume of the first computer is very big, inappropriatefor use, but it has received warm applause by the peoples. During the sixties of20th century,following with the communication increase between the various countries and region of theworld, sharing of various sources through the computer turned into urgent needs of time andscientific technology. Under this circumstance, through many repeated research, scientistsinvented computer web at last. Earliest computer web consisted of several inter-connectedcomputers, later on, extent of web grew by the by, today computer web turned the world into asmall village. Since1994, in our country, people began to use computer web. Applying ofcomputer web in the education field, enable the education to have a huge progress. Ideologicaleducation of university students is one of the consistent part of it.In Xinjiang, especially in southern Xinjiang, phenomenon of information-block is still exist,but the new tool of transferring information abolished the restriction of time and space, andboosted efficiency of sharing information. So ideological education for college studentsembraced certain opportunities and challenges. Xinjiang is a region of multinationals, how tostrengthen ideological education of ethnic minority university students and how to combineideological and political education with the web is a pragmatic question put before us.First of all, this essay recounted research aim and of it’s meaning, illuminated inter-relationof web and ideological and political education for ethnic minority university students,illuminated research approach, method and adopted measures.
