Under the background of quality-oriented education and the concept of the new curriculum, education more attention to foster students’innovation spirit and practical ability. Innovation needs of consciousness, cultivating practice ability is in the process of problem solving. Thus, in geographic teaching in the, training students of Hon capacity, will to train students of innovation spirit and practice capacity, and problem situation teaching is refers to to students placed a species situation, teachers through multiple way makes students in "found-made-address problem" of dynamic process in the active participation learning, on training students of innovation thinking and practice capacity has must of promoting role. To that end, I passed on pedagogy and psychology theories, such as the in-depth learning, drawing on the majority of teachers in the application of situational teaching in geography teaching experience, combined with my teaching practice, summarizing the use of situational teaching mode of cultivating students’ability of putting forward qustion and teaching practice, to a concrete demonstration of the theory of the formation.Practice results show that using setting questioning situation model of teaching to cultivate students’questioning ability more effective than traditional teaching methods in the area of learning, can greatly enhance the students’interest in learning geography, training students’thinking ability and creative ability, contribute to the training of students’autonomous learning ability to work in team.This article is divided into six parts. First part:set out the problem situation teaching of research overview and theory based; second part:addressed has geographic problem situation and Hon capacity of connotation; third part:analysis has effect students on capacity of main factors; Fourth part:set out the problem situation teaching in geographic teaching in the of operation mode, including teachers how to prepare and in operation process in the needed followed of six principles and can select of six species ways, and combined teaching practice for operation, and analysis the problem situation teaching of feedback evaluation; Fifth part:summary of harvest of this study and reflection.
