An Investigation On The Current Situation Of Community College Running

The position of the community college as community education, as an important carrier, to promote residents’lifelong learning, as guarantee of realization of popularization of higher education and as a perfect higher education system of learning form, has become an integral part of in the form of education. Community college embodies the concept of the education, to make up for the lack of modern education system, to build a lifelong learning system for the development of higher education and a harmonious socialist society has played a positive impact.In this thesis, Nanjing G District Community Training College is as a case study to investigate. Through detailed and comprehensive research, to analysis and study of community college educational status quo, and to explore and analyze their problems in the development process, and thus offer some suggestions on the development of the community colleges.First of all, this thesis elaborates the research background from the cause and significance of the topic. By combing the study both at home and abroad, to find the deficiency of the existing research, lay a foundation for the development of this research.The second chapter is the theory system construction section. The second chapter mainly makes a brief introduction to the connotation of community college. The third chapter of the development situation of community colleges is discussed. By analyzing the causes and course of development of community colleges we can provide the basis for the study of the case.The third chapter selects G District Community Training College for a case. Through questionnaires, interview investigation and field observation, the present situation of Community Training College can be known. At the same time, the problems found during the investigation can be analyzed.The last chapter makes a deep thinking on the problems existing in the community college. In view of the existing problems, and for the long-term development of the community college, we put forward the following suggestions: Pay attention to publicity, further deepen the residents awareness of community college; Attach great importance to the teachers, to strengthen the construction of a contingent of professional teachers; Increasing investment, widen the channel of the community education fund raising; Perfect policy, build reasonable community education system specification; Scientific management, establish and improve the community college management system; Deepen the connotation, enriching the content of community college curriculum system.
