Executive Function is a high cognitive function, when we complete complex cognitive tasks which can control and coordination of other cognitive processes. The fundamental role is to produce a coordinated and purpose behavior. It is an important component of children’s learning, reasoning, problem solving and intelligence activities. Abnormal executive function will affect the whole functions of children’s behavior. Slight abnormality performance the motivation, planning and decision-making capacity of the lower. Serious shows that the self-control ability is poor and switching attention is difficulties. Executive function have close relationship with many human advanced psychological functions, The study of children’s executive function caused the extensive concern of researchers in various fields, therefore, to find effective way to promote and improve children’s executive function has become the current frontier topic such as psychological science, neuroscience, and education.The point of Sports can effectively promote and improve children’s executive function has obtained the preliminary prove. But it is lack of sufficient scientific basis. This research is rooted in the forefront of Physical science psychological science, educational science and neuroscience, the achievements and the future development trend. Combining with the characteristics of Primary school students executive function development, to discuss30minutes at a time the different intensitises basketball movement influence of executive function for elementary school students. Providing a theoretical and practical basis for adopt different intensity sport methods to improve students executive function.Randomly selected Students in class four, grade four from yangzhou yucai primary school, a total of210. There are53test subjects in the control class,54test subjects in the small intensity class,55test subjects in the moderate intensity class,48test subjects in the heavy intensity class. When the experiment starting, childrens have to fill in daily physical activity questionnaire, and let the parents to fill in the corresponding children’s mental medical scale (parents to use, suitable for children aged4to6). When the experimental group respectively for30minutes at a time of different intensity of basketball sports training, the control group learning in the classroom. Measure each Primary school students executive function before and after the experiment, using the Flanker task,1-back task, More-odd shifting task to Comprehensive evaluation of students executive function. Use the repeated anova analysis of variance to investigate the influence of short-time intensity of different basketball on Primary school students executive function, and discuss the conjunction between executive function and physical education.The results of study shown that:(1) The different intensity of basketball movement have a positive impact on Primary school students’ executive function. Small intensity exercise only effects on inhibition, Moderate-intensity exercise have a significant effects on the various dimensions of executive function. Heavy intensity exercise have a significant effects on the inhibition and updating.(2) Different intensities of basketball sports have an different intervention on executive function. Specific performance:Inhibition function:moderate intensity> heavey intensity、small intensity> control group; updating function:moderate intensity、heavy intensity>small intensity、 control group; Shifting functiong:moderate intensity>heavy intensity、control group、small intensity.Research conclusions:Different intensity of basketball sports intervention can promote Primary school students’ executive function, But the improving effect is different, and moderate intensity basketball sport has the best effect to Primary school students as a whole of executive function.
