Objective:Nowadays we all know that the importance of executive function in our daily lives and studies. We have no impossible to do things smoothly if we have poor executive function. So, what can we do to make it become better or perfectly? More and more studies have demonstrated that moderated exercise can make executive function better. But there are no identity outcomes about the effect because of various causes, such as the differently measure tools, sample size and so on. The current study accessed the effects of moderate exercise on children’s executive function for 12 weeks.Method:Eighty-four preadolescents in fifth grade were randomly assigned into either an exercise group (40) or the control group (44). The exercise group will adapt in Wushu Gymnastics for 12 weeks in moderated intensity. No specific requirements on the control group.Results:The moderated exercise Wushu Gymnastics, which has facilitated children’s executive function select. There is no significant difference in inhibit and work memory except for shifting.Conclusion:These findings suggest that moderated exercise may facilitate children’s executive function in shifting. These demonstrated that Wushu Gymnastics can be used as a substitutive measure to make executive function better.
