The writing teaching with activities in primary school is a new teaching mode of writing, since it combine the activity and primary school writing teaching together in order to promote writing through activities. It not only conforms with the characteristics and laws of Chinese education, but also pays attention to the lifelong development of students, because it focuses on students’ activities, students’ exploration, students’ active participation and positive thinking in practice by associating school with society and life, which is the effective way to implement the quality education and promote the all-round development of students. At the same time, primary school writing teaching with activities is not only beneficial to improving the level of writing and writing ability of the students, but also to the development of students’ personality, ability and teachers’ profession.However, in the implementation process, many teachers do not fully understand the writing teaching with activities in primary school, and they one-sidedly focus on the usage of its form, and only see the false classroom atmosphere and the flashy teaching effect without real content. Many teachers haven’t thought or attached great importance to the problems of writing teaching content selection, activity design implementation, the content that should be focused, and what ability has been improved during the teaching process. These problems are also what we need to consider and discuss in the long-term teaching.Combining with Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, Rousseau’s naturalistic education theory and Dewey’ doing educational theory, and investigating the writing teaching with activities in primary school through literature review and questionnaire, the authors analyzed some problems to some extent, and proposed the corresponding improvement strategies according to these problems even though some viewpoints and opinions are not mature enough, and need further study and exploration. But I hope that some problems and viewpoints in the survey can grab teachers’ interest and attention, and trigger teachers’ further thinking and exploration in terms of the writing teaching with activities in primary school, thus fundamentally enabling students to solve the problems of writing, and promoting all-round development of students.In addition, influenced by many factors such as society, school, teachers, students, etc. the effective implementation of teaching writing with activities in the primary school has certain limitation. The exam-oriented education which leads to utilitarian education makes schools, teachers, students and parents more concerned about the scores, and about the overall increasing scores of Chinese through improving writing skills and abilities rather than knowing the purpose of writing fundamentally. And the writing teaching with activities in primary school has been regarded as one of effective teaching methods to improve the scores, which emphasizes one-sidedly the efficiency of class and the increasing of students’scores, thus ignoring the real intention of its implementation. Therefore, as teachers, we should truly regard the writing teaching with activities in primary school as the extension of modern social quality education, and we should be concerned about students’interests and need to stimulate their writing passion and enthusiasm. In this way, students will find it easy and happy to write and express their own opinions and at the same time, their comprehensive ability can be developed and improved.
