Writing teaching is always the important and difficult point to in Chinese teaching. There are several problems in composition writing in elementary school, such as students are not interested in writing, what they write breaks away from the reality, copying words telling lies and so on. The main body of the book starts with the quality education request, is based on the new demand of personnel training in 21 century, has studied the earlier achievement both home and abroad, connected with concrete writing teaching reality, set off from new angle, attempt to study the theory and practice of comprehensive study in Chinese teaching.Comprehensive practical activities in the Chinese teaching refers to: "under the teacher's guidance, students carry on the comprehensive study activities autonomously." It emphasizes the experience of the students and the need of the society as the core, carries on various kinds of practical activities in form of theme, and synthesizes Chinese course resources.This paper points out the present situation of the pupils' writing teaching, and analyzes the causes, and then puts forward the possibility of making use of practical activities to improve the pupils' writing ability and the relationship between the practical activity and the improvement of pupil's writing abilities. And finally it provides us with the way of making use of practical activities to improve the pupils' writing abilities, in hope of giving some enlightenment to the teachers.
