In the context of sustainable development of our national economy, the standards of people’s life have significantly improved. Students’ health surveyshows that in recent years while increasing levels of morphological development ofadolescents, there is a phenomenon that their lung capacity, endurance, strength, speed, and other physical indicators clearly continued to fall. Obesity and overweight has alsobecome widiespread.Myopia rates have been high. And the levels of young people’sheart and lung function is generally lower than before. Health problems of adolescentsin China has led to a serious crisis, which also give rise to our party and Government. InMay2007, CPC issued <<the views of the CPC Central Committee and the StateCouncil on strengthening youth sports to enhance young people’s physical>>. Youngpeople’s physical decline for decades not only plagued the community but also by thecommunity’s attention. The decline in young people’s physical health has a significantimpact on the healthy development of adolescents themselves. In addition to this, itseffects can’t be ignored on their family’s well-being, the nation’s overall quality andoverall national competitiveness. Therefore, strengthening young people’s physical andpromoting the healthy development of young people are related to the future of thecountry and nation. It is a reflection of a nation, a symbol of social civilization andprogress and important aspects of overall national strength.Skipping game is a simple, convenient, and easy to learn sports project. It iscontent-rich, diverse, challenging, perfect on health, and particularly noticeable onpromoting young children’s health. Compared with other sports projects, it is dominant, worthy of promotion and popularization and deserves a great deal of attention no matterfrom security, school and sports venues or community exercise places. This paperproved that skipping movement is more conducive to increasing young people’s heartand lung fitness by using the methods of literature, expert interviews statistical methodsand logical analysis on seaside primary school in Chengdu, the second experimentalprimary school in Panyu district. And this paper provides a theoretical basis aboutskipping exercise’s benefits on increasing young people’s heart and lung function. Andit drew the following conclusions:1Skipping exercise has a good influence on young people’s myocardial function. And reasonable skipping exercises can improve myocardial function, effectively slowerthe heart rate and reduce the instantaneous heart rate recovery time.2Practicing skipping in the long-term has a good impact on adolescents’spulmonary function. It can also improve young people’s vital capacity, the maximum ventilation, respiratory muscles exercise empowerment and increase the resiliency ofrespiratory muscle fatigue condition.3Because of the differences on geographical environment, school culture, students’cognitive attitudes, teachers’ education, the degree of school leaders’ support andparents’ understanding, the test results of three schools also showed different. Theexperimental results of seaside primary school in Chengdu are best. It cardiopulmonaryfunction indicators are better than the other two elementary schools.4Practice has shown that if we want to achieve a better workout on skippingexercise, it requires the following steps:1) Strengthen our understanding on skipping movement and cognition.2) Improveteachers’ quality, establishing school communities and skipping sport teams and playtheir model effects.3) Strengthen scientific guidance and pay attention to aboutscientific movement pattern.4) give full attention to security issues.5) Strengthenpropaganda about the advantage of skipping exercise and change the campaign concept.6) form the characteristic project in campus culture.
