Motivation method is widely used in many areas because it can arouse people’senthusiasm, initiative, stimulate motivation for people to do things, and make peopleto work hard toward goals, develop people’s creative spirit and potential. It’s veryimportant for teachers to choose appropriate motivation methods in junior high school.Appropriate encouragement methods let students make progress in order to fulfillhigh-quality builders and successors of the socialist cause. This is the focal point ofcurriculum, also the ultimate aim of quality education.There are many kinds of motivation methods, when the teachers use the methodsshould know the features of junior high school students. Based on the differentfeatures, teachers choose the appropriate motivation methods. However, there are stillmany problems in the actual teaching. In this study, I read a lot of relevant domesticand foreign information and take five junior high schools in Dalian city, Shenyangcity and Jinzhou city as the investigation objects. By the questionnaire investigationand----, I found the problems of motivation methods when they are use in theteaching progress in junior high school. This study analysis the reasons on thisquestions and put forward countermeasures and suggestions.This study includes four sectors. The first sector elaborates the background of thedissertation, the meaning and the method of the research, then look up a lotresearches about motivation methods and make a comment about these literatures.The second sector elaborates the theoretical basis and determines a definition. Thethird sector is the fact of the actualization of motivation methods, the problems andthe analysis of the consequences. The fourth sector comes up with some advices andcountermeasures.
