A Study On The Current Situation Of Winter Physical Education In Private Colleges In Harbin

Private Higher Education in China after the reform and opening up has enjoyedgreat progress and development with its proportion gradually increasing and itsquality continuously improving. Private colleges and universities have become animportant part of the higher education in our country, meanwhile its sports teachingquality is also receiving much attention.Winter physical education for all colleges and universities in Harbin, is animportant part in College Physical Education which characterizes the northern part ofChina, but because the private universities in Harbin started late, the lack of statefinancial support, coupled with the various situations of individual schools hasresulted in the unbalanced winter physical education in private colleges anduniversities.In this paper, Harbin,10private institutions for the study, using literature data,questionnaire, expert interviews, mathematical analysis and other research methods,mainly on the teaching goals, organizational forms, faculty, venues and facilities,student winter PE satisfaction and choice for winter physical education and otheraspects of survey findings are as follows:(1) objective fuzzy winter sports teaching,most teachers only stay in their understanding and promote good health, the expenseof student sports spiritual, social adaptability comprehensive quality training;(2) isnot flexible curriculum, teaching a single organization, due to space, climate and otherfactors, so that some of the projects that have been carried out a few years, or even tenyears have not changed, some new projects cannot be opened; what is particularlynotable is that less ice and snow projects are developed that characterize thenorthern regions compared with the regular higher institutes;(3) faculty structuremode unreasonable, age configuration is not balanced, relatively young teachers;diploma and degree level has improved significantly, with a higher proportion ofteachers with Master degree to that of regular higher institutes. But the number ofgraduates is less and there are no Doctor graduates;(4) area of less stadiums, mostschools are not up to the required standard, indoor stadium area of only three schools achieved and the area of non-compliance outdoor venue has six schools, sportshardware facilities and student numbers do not match, seriously affecting the conductof the winter physical education. Harbin for the current status of private universities inwinter sports, the future development of proposed measures:(1) improve theconsciousness of students to participate in the winter exercise (2) according to theiractual situation, to carry out with a feature of the school in winter sports;(3) changein winter sports organization, to carry out a wide range of winter sports course content;(4) establish reasonable winter sports teaching appraisal system;(5) strengtheningthe teaching staff, give full play to the role of physical education teachers;(6) tostrengthen the construction of private colleges and universities sports facilities.
