| The scientific method is a core element in scientific literacy, which is the main basis for students to develop scientific thinking, attitude and spirit. With the education of scientific method in chemistry teaching, students can master the basic skills of chemical knowledge and the way to acquire it, which improve students a better understanding of chemistry knowledge and acquire it independently to achieve self-learning eventually. Inorganic substance is a basis and a skeleton of high school chemistry knowledge. It contains scientific knowledge and scientific method.We select inorganic substance of "chemistry1" as the research object. Through three aspects to study the actual situation of scientific method education. The following conclusions:Firstly, the standard of high school chemistry curriculum has shown clearly the importance of scientific method education. However, it did not carry out how to use scientific method to educate in specific knowledge. Secondly, the textbook of inorganic substance emphasizes the observation method. Thirdly, most of the Students don’t agree with the importance of the scientific method. Besides, they don’t know much about the basic scientific method and haven’t developed a habit in transferring the application of the scientific method into an actual learning in daily life. So the scientific methodology of literacy is superficial. Fourthly, the gap between teachers and students is not too big. We have obtained revelations:Firstly, in the new round of adjusting curriculums to develop not only in curricular concept, but also emphasize the importance of the scientific method and deal with the description of education of scientific method in detail. Secondly, the scientific method should be highlighted while compilation. Thirdly, teachers’ understanding of the scientific method should be improved. |
