A Study On The Value Of Ideological And Political Education Of College Students' Volunteer Service

College students volunteer service is a very important way for college students tocontact and serve the society. Not only beneficial to enrich st’udents study life, butalso to promote st’udents all-round development. Compare with the traditional way ofideological and political education, college students volunteer service is a new carrierand form. It can enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education andsatisfy the students’ self development and self realization needs. This paper bases onthe investigation of the current situation and describes the ideological and politicaleducation value of college students volunteer service. At last, this paper analyzes theexisting problems and puts forward some effective countermeasures. This paper iscomposed of five chapters:Chapter1is the introduction，mainly introduces the research background andsignificance; the research situation at home and abroad; the research mentality andthe method; the research innovations and deficiency of this paper.Chapter2explains the concept of volunteer, volunteer service and volunteerism,then describes the development course and main characteristics of college studentsvolunteer service. These studies provide the theoretical support for following parts.By combining of the theoretical knowledge, Chapter3expounds the ideologicaland political education value. It is divided into two parts that the first is individualvalue and the second is social value.The fourth part is an empirical analysis of the value of ideological and politicaleducation of college students volunteer service, firstly illustrates the basic situationof the college students volunteer service, then is the data analysis of the questionnaire,finally from the overall analysis of the existing problems and influencing factors ofcollege students volunteer service.Chapter5is a further relfection for propelling ideological and political educationvalue of college students volunteer servicc. This part mainly explores some basicprinciples of college students volunteer service; promotes the coll’ege studentsself-improvement and development; improves the college students volunteer service.
