Now, the studies of mathematics reading are increasing more and more in China. At the same time, the mathematic anxiety as a new research focus, budding in China, achieved gratifying results. But if you read the literature, you will found there are some lacks and imbalances in Research results. In the past, the study of mathematics reading is researched about such as educational value, the influence factors and training methods in theory, while the study of mathematic anxiety is more from the perspective of psychology, focused on the present status investigation, cause analysis, the impact on the academic and strategy of mitigation, etc rarely considered the influence of math anxiety on one of the students’math learning links-mathematics reading.This research would be based on the theory of predecessors’ research, put forward my own definitions of mathematics anxiety and mathematics reading, also it make the empirical research about the situation and the interaction between mathematics anxiety and mathematics reading. Set the scales according to the research target, an investigation was launched for junior high school students.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:In aspects of math anxiety, math anxiety exists in junior middle school students and it has little grade differences, the math anxiety level of the first grade is slightly higher than the second grade, but there is no obvious gender difference, the girls’math anxiety is slightly higher than boys.In the aspect of mathematics reading, the situation of the first grade and2grades is similar, and boys’is not much better than girls’. In addition, most of the junior middle school students’is positive in the understanding, motivation and attitude of mathematics reading. In the habit, strategy, elf-monitoring, ability of reading and extracurricular reading, things are not going well.There is a significant negative correlation between mathematics anxiety and mathematics reading in Junior high school students.who has the highest level of mathematics reading is low in math anxiety, the second is moderate math anxiety, the last is high math anxiety. Also, mathematics anxiety of the high mathematics reading test group is lower than the low group.By observation and investigation and research, we found that most of the students who had great difficulty in mathematics reading are high mathematics anxiety patients. They worried and feared too much, mathematics anxiety become a stumbling block to hinder the student mathematics learning and development. We can help students get rid of excess math anxiety, create a good mathematics reading and math’s learning atmosphere from three aspects:student, teacher and parents.
