In the background of the new curriculum reform, the traditional English teaching ideas have been unable to keep up with the pace of reform in teaching, the traditional English teaching has been unable to successfully complete the goal of English. The experts of the education and the English teachers of primary school pay more attention to study the integral teaching in recent years. In order to discourse teaching model to promote the formation of primary school English teachers better, stimulate the students’ learning English of the internal driving force, and ultimately improve the students’ comprehensive abilities of using English author by the X school in Wujin district as an example for exploration and study of primary school and high school English integral teaching of texts.In this study, the author mainly by means of case study method, experience summary method in psychology, Gestalt theory, cognitive theory, three kinds of reading teaching mode (bottom-up model, top-down model, interactive model) as the whole discourse teaching theoretical basis, to X School of language a whole teaching practice as an example, a detailed analysis of the types of primary school English teaching. And by using the method of questionnaire, interview and other research methods were true detailed investigation of primary schoo English discourse attitude, Implementation of integrated teaching implementation process, implementation and the effect of the implementation of confusion. Through research, found the problems existed in the process of the integral teaching of texts. And the cause of these proble-ms is analyzed in detail, thus put forward the optimization of primary school English textual teaching methods.
