The physics curriculum standard emphasizes the teaching process should face to all students and care their all-round developments. However, the traditional teaching modes are all teacher-centered, which heavily stress physical knowledge as basic technics. And due to the limit of the teaching modes in middle school, it cannot consider the differences between students. It is a common phenomenon that teachers pay more attention to draw conclusions rather than teaching process, practice skills for solving problems rather than comprehend the physical concepts, pass on knowledge than penetrate the scientific thoughts, transfer knowledge than communicate between classmates, teach a book than educate.Physics curriculum is a basic course which should focus on cooperation and communication among teachers and students, providing each student a chance for fair study and discuss. Peer-Instruction teaching method is founded by Eric Mazur, a professor from Harvard University, which uses conceptual tests according to teaching content for student wrong concept with the help of flash card or voting system in computer, aiming to guide student do a further research on and communicate it. It is proved by lots of foreign teaching practical literatures that the communication and operation in peer can arouse students’activity and students will give more participation in class and exchange more ideas with teacher. The further improve and maintain ability to learn automatically, to create and think than distinguish could be gotoIn response to the advocated teaching method reform, the dissertation put forward to applying PI into physical teaching at the first time after stating historical development of PI, inquiring documents, researching on theoretical basis in PI. PI teaching mode designs three teaching cases, including new teaching, lesson-review and experimental lesson in different natures after systematically stating the theory basis, enforcement rules, teaching mode and enforcement condition in physical teaching. The mode also states the design ideas for different cases which closely combine with the "three dimensional training goal". For new teaching, reading test need to represent conceptual noun, to avoid detailed understanding in concept. Teachers need divide concept section when teaching. Conceptual test should reflect each physical idea and match concept easy for student to make a mistake. For lesson-review, reading test need add reviews for the taught lesson. For experimental classes, concept text need bond tightly to detailed principle and operation skills in practice. Two classes are selected in the teaching process. One uses the traditional teaching method. The one uses the PI teaching method. The data shows that it is practical for physical teaching using PI teaching method in middle school.
