Junior middle school is the last part of a nine-year compulsory education stage, is also inthe middle stage of the basic education.This stage students in adolescence. They arerebellious, but also it’s a best period that student can keep mental development, form goodhabits, cultivate unique personality ability.But in our country, basic education is backward insome rural area.The curriculum is single, hindered the development ofstudents.However,school-based curriculum development is outside of the nationalcurriculum.It is the diversity course developed by school which according to their owncharacteristics and the development of the students’ needs. The school curriculum issingle.There exit shortcomings in educating people. School-based curriculum just can makeup it.This artile in view of the current education condition in countryside junior middleschool,on the basis of previous studies,making the questionnaire by myself.It pays attentionto the type of school-based curriculum development,the internal body of school-basedcurriculum development,external support,evaluation and management and so on.As a coupleof junior middle schools of changtu in Liaoning province the object of investigation,issuingquestionnaire to teachers.It can know the present sitation of development of school-basedcurriculum in the countryside junior middle school and found the problems,such as the typeof the course is single,teachers’ ability is sufficient and lack of curriculum awareness,theschool lack of external support,evaluation is not scientific,and the absence in managementlevel.Through interview to the headmaster of these school, we can know the cause of theproblem deeply.According to the existing problems,we should put forward the feasibilitycountermeasure.Such as develop course in more direction,the leadership correct theirattitude,train teachers,strengthen cooperation,get support,set up scientific evaluation systemand reasonable management system.Provide a reference for development of school-basedcurriculum in schools. Accordingly,cultivate high qualified talents’, promote the balanceddevelopment of education,speed up the pace of curriculum reform of elementary education.
