Chinese characters as the most precious heritage of the Chinese nation, is a splendidculture of the Chinese nation crystallization, has a permanent charm. Teaching of Chinesecharacters is a basic part of Chinese teaching, but for various reasons, the Chinese characterteaching has been neglected to some extent, Chinese characters learning some worrisomephenomena appeared. Research on effective teaching of Chinese characters currently becomean important topic, improve the teaching quality of Chinese characters, the search foreffective Chinese character teaching method, should cause our attention.This research is divided into four most:The introduction part, Firstly this topic research background, then collect the researchstatus at home and abroad, the foreign research status from abroad the study of Chinesecharacters teaching and teaching Chinese as a foreign language study. Include: to cultivate students’ mothertongue complex; Beneficial to inheriting Chinese ancient civilization; Is conducive tounderstand Chinese rich connotation.The second chapter is investigating and analyzing the status quo. This chapter includesresearch overview, specific investigation contents and the analysis of the results andconclusions.
