As a hot topic, well-being initially was a discussing thought, and gradually makes the transition to system level, and becomes the government operational evaluation index. To promote national well-being is a relatively new development concept of the Chinese government, it is not only a question of people’s livelihood construction and policy, but also involves various aspects including culture, psychology, legal system and tourism. That is a high priority for the government, and the topic causes the attention of scholars. In tourism research field, the literatures about well-being are little. Based on the existing research, we find that the research of well-being is mainly about tourists, such as tourists well-being index declining caused by the "golden week" phenomenon etc. Also, very few studies focus on tourism community resident well-being. In view of this, this article takes Sichuan Taoping Qiang village women as the investigation object, and analyses female group differences in well-being. The main emphasis of research is to discuss the impacts of tourism participation on women’s well-being. The article is aimed at providing case data for the relevant theoretical exploration and reference for the healthy development in the local tourism community.Taking Taoping Qiang village as an empirical study, the paper has studies the tourism participation and well-being performance. The study combines literature analysis, quantitative analysis, and interviewing method and so on. Moreover, by use of Excel, SPSS, Amos software, each measurement indexes of well-being and tourism participation are quantitatively analyzed, and the paper explores the impact between well-being and tourism participation. The main conclusions of the paper are in the following aspects:(1) By cluster analysis of Taoping female subjective well-being, according to the female well-being score, the female can be classified into passive, conflict and positive female group. The three category female groups have shown significant difference in the level of education, household income and participation time. The higher the education degree, the higher subjective well-being, but there is a u-shaped trend at the two other aspects. It is not simply with the longer of participation time, the income is higher, and subjective well-being is higher.(2) By cluster analysis based on the6dimensions of psychological well-being, the women in the community can be classified into four categories which can be labeled as: dependent female, enterprising female, balanced female and passive female. The four category female groups have shown significant difference in the level of tourism participation. The study reveals that tourism participation has a positive effect on raising psychological well-being of the community women, but there exists a kind "moderate participation" phenomenon, that means moderate tourism participation helps community women maintain a higher level of psychological well-being.(3) Based on analyzing the tourism participation situation of women in Taoping, by use of SPSS and AMOS software to explore psychological well-being scale, and through structural model, from the view of tourism participation, it is analyzes of Taoping women’s psychological well-being, the results show that the tourism has a significant influence on female self-efficacy, but no significant effect on interpersonal relationship and personal growth.The paper’s innovations include the following aspects:(1) On the basis of analysis on well-being, the paper uses different research methods. Using cluster analysis and cross contingency table, the paper summaries different well-being people groups, and pays attention to different groups characteristics in population statistics and tourism participation. As well as, compared with the traditional descriptive statistical analysis, the methods are more in-depth. In addition, using AMOS software, from the perspective of tourism the paper analyzes the influence on psychological well-being.(2) This paper organically combines tourism participation and well-being. From the perspective of women, the paper systematicaly studies Taoping Qiang village well-being situation. The paper has made certain contribution to the future research of well-being and tourism participation.
