Education career related to national rejuvenation, to national prosperity, directly related to the interests of every member of society. Pays special attention to the rural basic education is the cornerstone of national quality in our country, is the foundation to realize the modernization development of our country, level of rural primary school education directly restricts the development of China’s basic education scale and speed, the quality of teachers is the key to improve the quality of rural primary school education, the new teacher is a new force of rural teachers group, however, these recruits new teachers can adapt to rural primary school teachers’ work? Whether qualified teachers professional? The study of this issue can help us better understand the recruits in rural primary school teachers encountered, unique career adaptation problems, further enrich the theory about the new teachers’ professional development.Professional adaptation is an important part of people’s social adaptation, while the adaptation of new teachers refers to a process in which new teachers make adjustments to teaching work, the working environment, interpersonal relationship by using own knowledge and skills, which is also an important part of professional development of teachers. New teachers’ professional adaptation is the critical period of teacher professional development, is also a full of frustration and challenge stage.This study carried out a large number of literature and reading, in-depth reflection on the new teacher occupation adaptation on the basis of the theory. Taking research, use data from55new teachers who entry rural elementary school within three years from elementary school in rural areas of Y, Shaanxi Province. That use of questionnaire survey, and choose10teachers conducted in-depth interviews. Study found that new rural primary school teachers have a greater psychological pressure, there is a common occupational adaptation, mainly face the shortage of professional cognition, professional ability, professional psychological pressure, interpersonal tension four aspects of problems and difficulties.Facing the new teacher problem, a careful analysis of its influence factors, mainly teachers personal factors, environmental factors, material treatment factors, school factors and family factors. Finally, based on the analysis of the present study, the author give some advices in which combines the reality:the new teachers improve their own quality, the new teachers building good interpersonal relationship, the more and more spending on rural education, increase investment in rural education to improve rural primary school teachers material treatment and working environment, family and friends give more understanding and support to new teachers to help new rural primary school teachers improve the vocational adaptability, help new teachers to change status as soon as possible, to adapt to their own professional life, up to the requirements of the job, to realize their own professional development.
