A Study On The Combination Of Music Education And Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

Music education and ideological and political education are part of higher education in China. They belong to different disciplines and have an important status and a positive role in their own fields. As the ideology of the contemporary college students in China gradually tend to be diversified, hierarchical, personalized, ways and contents of the ideological and political education also need to be innovated and strengthened. As one of the requirements of human spiritual life, music is closely related to people’s thoughts and feelings. The emotional transmission, aesthetic concept and morality in college music education are closely linked with ideological and political education and share the same goal. Music education, with its unique characteristics of emotions, vividness and pleasure, plays an important role in the ideological and political education to college students, and has its special superiority. Music has important practical guiding significance in effectively implementing the combination of college music education with ideological and political education.This paper, through the integrated use of theoretical research, literature analysis, case analysis, social survey and other methods, on the basis of the dialectical relationship between music education and ideological and political education, intends to demonstrate the theoretical basis of the combination of music education with ideological and political education, analyze the necessity and possibility, expatiate on the inadequacies of the combination of contemporary college music education with ideological and political education, put forward effective measures to improve the combination of music education with ideological and political education so as to provide a new perspective and reference for the ideological and political education conduct and innovation and a new way to enrich the theory, improve the effectiveness and expand educational horizons of college students’ ideological and political education, and further prove that music education and ideological and political education are a harmonious unity of mutual integration, mutual development, mutual promotion.
