A Study On The Cultivation Of Students' Interest In Chemistry Learning In Yangbi County

In lifelong learning’s era, the cultivation of the interest in learning is moreimportant than learning specific knowledge and skills. Because learning interest playsan important role in the education teaching, stimulating students’ interest in learninghas become one of the urgent tasks of the school and teachers, especially pooreducation condition of the school. Due to the higher stage is the key period tocultivate the students’ interest in chemistry learning, this study has selected this topic.The research adopts the methods of studying literature, summarizing teachingexperience, questionnaire survey and interview. Generally, this research is dividedinto three phases. The first phase is to analyze data and start a survey of middle schoolstudent interest in learning chemistry. The second stage is to form a set of effectivespecific strategies in interest cultivation to guide chemistry teaching. The third stage isto put this strategy into the practical teaching in No.1Middle School of Yangbicounty and analyze test results.This article puts forward a strategie in interest cultivation of high schoolfreshmen for Yangbi county. It includes three parts. In a first aspect, teachersinfluence students’ interest in chemistry learning through their interest in chemistryteaching. In a second aspect, harmonious teacher-student relationship can stimulatestudents’ interest in chemistry learning. Thirdly, the diversity of teaching methods andreasonable treatment of teaching content can stimulate students’ interest in chemistrylearning. From the results of the study, students’ score in chemistry improvesignificantly, and students’ performance both and out of class have changed.Conclusion: The strategies can motivate and increase students’ interest in chemistrylearning.The purpose of this study is to stimulate and enhance the development of thehigh students’ interest of chemistry learning in our county, and to help other school ofsimilar education background, and work hard at improve the quality of high schoolchemistry teaching.
