Countryside Community Learning Centers is a kind of non-formal educationform. Promoted by UNESCO, it plays a large role on practicing life-long study idea,and realizing the goal of education for all. The Countryside Community LearningCenters makes full use of the function to educating for illiteracy, training ruralpractical skills, reducing poverty and aspects like that. The experience of theCommunity Learning Centers is getting vigorously promoted in developing countries.Ethnic culture is the soul relying on the nation’s survival and development, andis an important performance and the backbone of the national spirit. Inheriting theethnic culture has become an inevitable choice for social and economic developmentin modern national regions. Education and culture are inseparable. The CountrysideCommunity Learning Centers bears an important task of passing on national culture.As one of the big national provinces, Yunnan province has abundant ethnic cultureresources. Countryside Community Learning Centers opens a new way for the ethicculture inheritance.In this study, I make ethnic Tibetan areas in Yunnan province as objects. On thebasis of reading a large number of literatures, I walked deeply into the Shangri-laRenan community learning center, obtained first-hand information through depthinterviews and daily observation. Find the function of the Countryside CommunityLearning Centers from the research, and at the same time, find out the existingproblems on evolution of its function.Based on the thinking of above researches and theory, this study has thefollowing views:First, in order to promote the inheritance function, the Countryside CommunityLearning Centers should play important part, making rural community learning centera key way of inheritance of national culture using Countryside Community LearningCenters education form, in ethnic region, especially in remote frontier ones.Secondly, it’s necessary to satisfy the need of ethnic culture education in Countryside Community Learning Centers, to promote the development ofCountryside Community Learning Centers, pointing out the direction of benigndevelopment, setting proper formulate system and evaluation mechanism, and makingCLC realized at last.Thirdly, in order to realize the inheritance of national culture of CountrysideCommunity Learning Centers, school education, family education and CountrysideCommunity Learning Centers should be ganged and jointed together, mutualcooperation, promotion and common development.
